Wellness Program
Keys to Success works in partnership with Anytime Fitness to provide the highest quality physical fitness program for clients via one-on-one sessions with a certified personal trainer. This includes an all paid for membership to Anytime Fitness one can use with a personal trainer or alone.
Your personal trainer will evaluate your fitness level and health conditions, develop individualized exercise programs catered to your goals and explain safe and proper uses of gym equipment in order to achieve your goals without causing damage.
What is “wellness”?
Physical wellness is the practice of nurturing your body so it can function at its best, both now and in the long term through mindful exercise, nutrition and rest.
Why is wellness important to my recovery journey?
Substance use, especially over long periods or in high amounts, can take a serious toll on the body. While some damage may remain after treatment, focusing on physical wellness in recovery can promote healing and restore strength.
How can working out help my recovery journey?
It is common for life stress to trigger cycles of negative thinking, which can put recovery at risk. Movement and mindfulness offer powerful ways to break that pattern. Whether it’s strength training, yoga, or meditation, these practices can be learned in the gym and used anywhere. Discovering new forms of physical activity can spark motivation, fight off boredom, and help you feel stronger—inside and out.
Does time spent with a personal trainer count as a therapy session?
Please reach out to our office for details on whether a wellness program can be used as a replacement for a therapy session.
How do I sign up for a membership?
One of our personal trainers accompany you to Anytime Fitness and assist in signing you up.
Do I get to keep my membership if I am no longer attending Keys to Success for other therapy needs?
No, your gym membership will align with your attendance at Keys to Success.
“You want to get sober for your parents, you want to get sober for your job, you want to get sober for the cops, you want to get sober to protect your image. A lot of good reasons, by the way, but unfortunately, the only thing that works is that you have to want to get sober for you”
